Children and families have been my passion for the duration of my professional career. I have been counseling at risk children since 2012. As a public school educator of over 25 years, my daily goal is to facilitate change in the lives of my students.

I enjoy working with every individual of all ages, but I absolutely love working with children and teens. I am passionate about helping children and families heal, grow and thrive through all life’s ups and downs. I am here to help you and your child walk through life’s transitions, anxiety, depression and other challenges with courage and compassion. I enjoy empowering children who struggle with anger, social situations, low self-esteem, emotional regulation to develop positive self-concept, and coping skills needed to make their world a better place.

I tailor my approach based on what the client needs. Building the connection with my clients is important to me because it helps to develop the trust in the therapeutic relationship. I provide a place where clients feel safe to share their feelings and thoughts and that I am there to support the growth and healing process.

It is my goal to approach each session with a pure heart, just like a child’s heart and meet you where you are.
